Scientists say boiled, fried, poached or scrambled, eggs keep people fuller for longer compared with other common breakfast foods.
This appears to help people who are desperately trying to resist tempting but naughty afternoon snacks such as biscuits, cake or chocolate.
The review, published in the journal Network Health Dietitian, also revealed that the specific proteins found in eggs are far superior to other types when it comes to keeping hunger at bay.

Breakfast (7am-9am) — Have one hardboiled eggs with half two tomatoes or grapefruit, and drink two cups of really cold icy water (16oz).
Snacks (10:30-11:00) —– Eat one hardboiled eggs with two strawberries, and drink two cups of really icy cold water (16oz)
Lunch Time (11:30 am – 12:00pm) —- Have a chicken or tuna salad with avacados and tamatoes, with two cups of icy cold water (16oz).
Snack (2:00 -3:00pm) —- Have a peanut butter sandwich (half only) on wheat pita bread, with half an apple and two cups of water (16oz).
Dinner (4:30-6:00pm) —- Have some baked or grilled chicken with steamed corn or broccoli, with two cups of icy cold water (16oz).
Eggs are packed with a variety of nutrients including protein, zinc, iron and vitamins A, D, E and B12, but contain just 85 calories each. Old advice to limit eggs to just a few each week has also been abandoned. According to the Food Standards Agency, there’s now no limit to the number of eggs you can eat in a week as part of a healthy balanced diet.
