How To Get Your Protein
Gals, we know we talk about this a lot. Protein. You need it with every meal. Beans are a great source of not only protein but fiber, folate, plant iron, vitamin B1, and minerals such as magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and copper, and are naturally low in sodium. Plus, they’re cheap!
According to this piece on

But the sodium content of canned beans can be 100 times that of cooked! So! If you can, prepare dried beans. And if you do buy canned beans, get the no-salt-added varieties, and keep the bean juice.
